I got an Air Fryer for Christmas and I am trying out new recipes. I had heard from many people that the Air Fryer is one of the best kitchen equipment around, you can get the flavor of fried food without the fat and you can cook all kinds of foods, and it cooks them fast. So this recipe is an invention because I had some sour cream in the refrigerator that I had to use. It is not an ingredient I usually buy. You could also use plain yogurt instead. If the Cajun seasoning has salt, you might want to reduce the amount of additional salt to 1/2 teaspoon.
Roasted CauliflowerCourse: Uncategorized
1 head of cauliflower, broken into florets
3/4 cup sour cream or plain yogurt
1/4 cup water
1 teaspoon corn starch
1 teaspoon rice flour
1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon paprika
1 1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
- Mix the sour cream, water, cornstarch, rice flour and seasonings.
- Dip half of the florets in the sour cream mix and place in the airfryer basket in single layer.
- Turn the Air Fryer on to 400 degrees F and cook for 15 minutes. Remove the basked and place the cooked pieces on a serving platter. Repeat with the second batch.
